In the past four decades, the resistant activity of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the west asia region, which is referred to as regional resistance, has been accompanied by gaps, regardless of the important achievements it has brought. Evaluating this process and explaining the requirements of the regional resistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the beating heart of the resistance axis is important for future activism and constitutes the problem of the present research; Therefore, in this article, while studying and analyzing some of the most important laws approved by the Islamic Council of Iran, the constitution, the vision document and the statement of the second step of the revolution, the approaches available in the upstream laws and documents and the overall performance of the country in delineating and explaining the ideal state of resistance The region of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the method of achieving it should be critically evaluated. Conducting this research is of theoretical and practical importance in the sense that it leads to a re-reading of the general policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran's system and the requirements of the axis of resistance in order to achieve the desired situation. The present research is exploratory and not hypothesis testing. This research is developmental and applied in terms of type. Document-library technique was used for data collection and qualitative method and descriptive and analytical approach were used for data analysis. The findings of the research indicate that the Islamic Republic of Iran has mostly used a limited and non-synergistic geopolitical approach in its regional resistance in the past four decades. Although this approach has had important successes, it has also faced challenges, while the western side is trying to use a synergistic and multilateral hybrid war to combine two geopolitical and geoeconomic approaches in the anti-resistance strategy in addition to based on the pursuit of successes in semi-hard levels, design a hybrid development model. In the meantime, the primacy of image over upstream laws and documents, the necessity of using geopolitical and geoeconomic strategies to design hybrid deterrence, the necessity of Iran's new positioning in the international value chain in the post-shale oil era, and paying attention to the US strategy to contain China and the impact of these components It is important for the situation of regional resistance in Iran.
