Geopolitics has gone through four main stages since its inception: traditional, classical, modern, and postmodern. Each of these periods has reflected the historical, technological, and political developments of its time. Today, with the emergence of artificial intelligence as a super-technology within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we can speak of entering a fifth stage of geopolitical evolution. This new phase has cast its shadow over all aspects of human life and has had profound impacts on power, security, economy, and international relations. This analytical-descriptive study, through examination of authoritative library resources and international documents, shows that artificial intelligence has transformed from a mere tool into a key factor in redefining the nature of geopolitics and global power equations. In fact, AI has caused a profound transformation in geopolitics and the international balance of power by restructuring power, security, and sovereignty. While this technology has provided opportunities such as improved governance, enhanced transnational cooperation, and economic growth, it has simultaneously intensified challenges including the digital divide, emerging security threats, and ethical-legal dilemmas. In conclusion, this article provides practical solutions with the aim of global management of AI's impacts on the geopolitical system and international relations, as well as reducing the technological gap between developed and developing countries.
